What we collect

My Legacy Display stores the information needed to operate your account and display, including your email address, profile details, display identifier, device status, preferences, and content you choose to add.

If you connect Google Calendar or a calendar subscription, we receive authorization tokens and upcoming event details such as titles, times, locations, and descriptions. We request read-only Google Calendar access and cannot create, edit, or delete your Google Calendar events.

The display may use an approximate location inferred from its internet connection to provide local time and weather. We do not request precise GPS location.

How we use information

We use this information only to authenticate users, link accounts to displays, synchronize authorized content and events, provide device status, and operate requested features such as weather and upcoming-event reminders.

Google user data is used only to provide the calendar features you initiate. We do not sell personal information or use private calendar data for advertising.

Storage and security

Calendar credentials are encrypted before storage. Access is restricted according to account and device ownership, and displays receive only the information needed to provide their features. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information.

Your choices

You may disconnect a linked calendar from the portal to stop future synchronization. You may also ask us to delete your account or associated personal data. Some limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or service integrity.
